## What makes a quote accurate

- **Commercial:** the plan set or a floor plan, the equipment schedule with nameplate ratings, the existing panel schedule, and the target opening date.
- **EV charging:** the charger make and model, the panel size, a photograph of the panel with the cover off, and the distance to the parking spot.
- **Backup power:** which circuits you want to keep running, and the panel brand — interlock kits are panel-specific and some panels have none.
- **Panel work:** the current service size, overhead or underground, and what you are adding.

## What happens next

1. The owner reads it, not a call centre.
2. A short call to fill the gaps, or a site visit if the job needs eyes on it.
3. A written scope naming the permit path, the utility rebate sequence if one applies, and what is and is not included.
4. If HB Power Electric is not the right firm for the job, they say so.
