Ten Seattle SDCI electrical permits since December 2025, nine completed and inspected. Those are the permits that appear in Seattle’s public permit data under our name since 16 December 2025; they cover subpanels, a generator inlet, a 60 A EV charger, panel replacements, a whole-house rewire, and ADU and bathroom circuits. All of them are residential. We publish the count, not the addresses, and we do not claim commercial permit history we do not have.

What we are not licensed for
- Not a general contractor. There is no RCW 18.27 construction contractor registration on file, which is normal for an electrical-only firm. We do not bid non-electrical construction work.
- No master electrician. Washington does not issue that title; the equivalents here are the Journey Level and Electrical Administrator certificates listed above, and we use those names rather than a grander one.
- No public-works training. We do not bid publicly funded projects.
- No certificate of insurance on file. We say “licensed and bonded”, not “insured”. See the FAQ below for why that distinction is worth caring about.
How to verify any Washington electrical contractor
- Go to secure.lni.wa.gov/verify ↗.
- Search by business name, licence number or UBI. Ours: HBPOWPE758PO / UBI 605 986 025.
- Check that the licence is active, that the specialty covers your work, and that the bond is in force.
- Open the violations, strikes and debarments sections. Empty is what you want.
- Ask who the designated electrical administrator is and whether that person will be on your job.

Licensing questions
How do I check an electrical contractor in Washington?
Use L&I's Verify tool at secure.lni.wa.gov/verify. Search by business name, licence number or UBI. It shows whether the licence is active, its specialty, the bond, the designated administrator, and any violations, strikes or debarments. You can also call L&I on 1-800-647-0982. Do it for us and for anyone else bidding your job — it takes about two minutes and it is the single most useful thing a customer can do before signing anything.
What does the "General (01)" specialty actually cover?
It is the broadest electrical contractor specialty Washington issues: all types of electrical and telecommunications work, residential and commercial, at any voltage the licence holder is competent to work at. The narrower specialties — residential-only, pump and irrigation, HVAC-restricted, limited energy — each carve out a slice of that. A General (01) licence is not a general contractor registration, which is a different thing under a different statute.
What is the difference between a contractor licence and an electrician certificate?
Two separate things, and a legitimate firm needs both. The contractor licence (HBPOWPE758PO) belongs to the business and carries the bond. The electrician certificates belong to the person doing the work: Yurii Havryliv holds Journey Level (01) HAVRYY*757JG, which is the certificate that permits him to perform electrical work unsupervised, and Electrical Administrator (01) HAVRYY*765MP, which is the certificate that lets a business hold a contractor licence at all. Every Washington electrical contractor must name a designated administrator; ours is the owner.
Are you insured?
There is no certificate of insurance on file, and we are not going to say "insured" until there is. Washington L&I does not require or record liability insurance for electrical contractors — only the bond — so a contractor advertising "licensed, bonded and insured" is making a claim the state record cannot support either way. If your landlord, general contractor or building requires a COI before we set foot on site, tell us early and we will tell you exactly where that stands.
What is the bond for, and is $4,000 enough?
The $4,000 bond required by RCW 19.28.041 is a consumer-protection instrument, not insurance: it is the amount a customer or supplier can claim against if the contractor fails to meet an obligation, and it is the statutory minimum for an electrical contractor. It is not the same as liability coverage and it would not cover property damage. Anyone telling you a bond makes them "insured" is confusing the two.
Do you do public works?
No. Public-works projects in Washington require the contractor to complete L&I training before bidding, and we have not completed it. If your project is publicly funded, we are not the right bidder and we will say so rather than waste your time.
