HB Power Electric works the I-5 corridor from Everett to Tacoma, from a base in Bothell. Two things change from city to city and both affect your job: which utility serves the building, which decides what rebates you can claim, and which office issues the electrical permit — Seattle SDCI, the city itself, Tacoma Power, or Washington L&I.

Bellingham and Whatcom County

Bellingham is about ninety minutes each way from Bothell, which is a different kind of commitment from the rest of this list. We have not completed a job in Whatcom County, and rather than publish a city page implying otherwise, we will say it plainly: Whatcom County work is by arrangement only. If you have a project up there, call and we will give you an honest answer about whether we are the right people for it. Bellingham is Puget Sound Energy territory and the City of Bellingham issues its own electrical permits.

How far is too far?

The honest answer is that it depends on the job, not the mileage. A tenant improvement, a multi-port charging installation, a service upgrade or a battery system keeps us on site for days, and the drive stops mattering. A single outlet in Tacoma does not justify a two-hour round trip, and we would rather tell you that than pad the quote to cover it. Bothell, Kenmore, Woodinville, Kirkland, Bellevue, Lynnwood, Mill Creek and Everett are the short drives.
