Who this policy is from

This site is run by HB POWER ELECTRIC LLC, trading as HB Power Electric, a Washington limited liability company at 16125 Juanita Woodinville Way NE, Unit 302, Bothell, WA 98011 (UBI 605 986 025, electrical contractor license HBPOWPE758PO). It is owner-operated: Yurii Havryliv does the work and reads what arrives here. Privacy questions: info@hbpowerelectric.com or (425) 239-4425.

What the quote form asks for, and why

The quote form is the only place this site asks you for anything. It collects your name, phone number, email address, the project address or ZIP code, the service you selected and your free-text message; the commercial path adds a company name, the building type and a target opening date. Photo and plan uploads are optional.

Each field has a job. Name, phone and email are how you get called back. The address or ZIP decides which permitting authority the work falls under — Seattle SDCI, your city, Tacoma Power or Washington L&I — and which utility’s incentives apply. The service and your message decide whether the job needs a site visit or a plan review first. Attachments are capped at 10 MB and forwarded as email attachments; there is no separate file storage at launch, so the copy that survives is the one in the owner’s mailbox. Nothing here asks for a card or bank number.

What is recorded alongside your submission

Six technical items are stored with each request: the timestamp, the IP address it came from, the browser user agent string, the exact wording of the consent text shown on the form at that moment, the version number of the form, and whether the spam check passed. That record defends against spam and proves consent if a text or email is questioned. It is not used to profile you and not sold.

How long things are kept

Quote submissions are kept for 24 months from the day you send them, then deleted from the database; the email copy in the owner’s mailbox goes on the same schedule. If an AI assistant is added to this site later, chat transcripts will be kept for no more than 30 days, and this policy will say so before that assistant goes live.

You can ask for it to be deleted sooner: email info@hbpowerelectric.com. No form, no charge.

Who else sees it

Four services, from three companies, handle a submission on its way to the owner:

Provider What it does What it sees
Cloudflare Hosting, network and the submissions database The submission and request logs
Cloudflare Turnstile Spam and bot check on the form A challenge token, not your message
Resend Sends the notification email to the owner and the confirmation reply to you Both of those emails
Pushover Alerts the owner’s phone that a request has arrived Your name, phone, ZIP and the first 200 characters of your message

That is the whole list. Your information is not sold, traded, or shared with advertisers, data brokers or lead-generation marketplaces, and would only be disclosed further under a court order or subpoena. If another provider is added, it is named here before it is used.

Traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which reports page views and Core Web Vitals from the request itself rather than from anything kept on your device. A small first-party counter also records that a call, text, quote or license-verify link was tapped — the tap, not the person, with no identifier, and kept only as a daily total. Because none of this reads or writes anything on your device, there is nothing for a cookie banner to ask about, so there is not one. If that changes, this page changes first.

Text messages and email

Under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act and Washington’s Commercial Electronic Mail Act, consent to be texted or emailed has to be given deliberately. On this form the SMS box and the email box are separate, unchecked by default, and never a condition of getting a quote. Leave both empty and you still get your quote, by phone.

Replying STOP to any text ends it, and requests to stop are honored within 10 business days. There is no newsletter; the messages you get are about your job.

Consumer health data

Washington’s My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373) covers health information collected from Washington residents and has no small-business exemption. It matters here because backup power is often bought for a medical reason.

We never ask why you need backup power. There is no health question anywhere on the form, and any AI assistant added later will be instructed never to ask about a medical condition or device, and never to record one.

If your message mentions one anyway — an oxygen concentrator, a CPAP, refrigerated medication — that sentence is treated as consumer health data. It is used only to size the load and backup runtime for the work you asked about, and it is never sold, never shared for advertising, and never disclosed outside the providers listed above. Email info@hbpowerelectric.com and it is deleted on its own, separately from anything else.

Photographs of completed work

Before publication, all location metadata including GPS coordinates is stripped from every project photo. Captions name the city only — never a street address, never a unit number, never a customer name — and no identifiable people appear in the portfolio images.

Publication permission is never assumed. It is a written clause in the work contract, agreed before the job, and it is withdrawable. How to withdraw it is answered in the questions below.

Your rights, and how to use them

Email info@hbpowerelectric.com to ask what is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to withdraw consumer health data consent, or to stop texts and emails. You may be asked to confirm you are the person who sent the request, so someone else cannot read or delete it. There is no charge and no portal; the owner handles these himself.

Children

This site is aimed at property owners, tenants, building managers and contractors. It is not directed at anyone under 16, and information is not knowingly collected from under-16s. A submission identified as coming from a child is deleted rather than answered.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, and stored submissions sit in a Cloudflare database reachable by one account, the owner’s. No card details are ever taken here. No arrangement is perfectly secure; what this page can say is that little is collected on purpose, so there is little to lose.

Changes to this policy

The publication date sits in the fact table above. When something material changes — a new provider, a new retention period, a tool that sets a cookie — the text and the date change together, and the change is described, not quietly folded in.

One honest limitation

Written by the business, in plain English, to describe what the site actually does. This is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by counsel; a Washington attorney should read it alongside the photo-consent clause in the work contract before anyone relies on it.

Common questions

Do you sell my details or pass them to other contractors?

No. A quote request goes to the owner's inbox and to a Cloudflare database that only the owner's account can read. It is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never passed to a lead-resale network or to another electrician. The only companies that touch it are the hosting, spam-check, email-delivery and push-alert providers named on this page, and each of them only carries the message from you to the owner.

Why does this site have no cookie banner?

Because there is nothing to consent to. The site sets no cookies of its own, and Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views without cookies, without local storage and without fingerprinting the browser. There is no advertising pixel, no remarketing tag and no cross-site tracking. If Google Analytics or any other cookie-setting tool is ever added, this page will say so and a banner will appear with it.

How do I get a photo of my job taken off the site?

Email info@hbpowerelectric.com and say which job or which image. Photos are published only with the customer's written permission, and that permission can be withdrawn at any time in writing. The image comes down within 10 business days of the request. You do not have to give a reason, and it makes no difference to any work still in progress.

Tell us what you need done

Call or text and you will reach the owner, not a call centre. For anything with a drawing, an equipment list or a deadline, send it through the quote form and you will get a written scope back.

We reply as soon as we are off the job — usually the same day.
